Little Tanner came into the studio to see me a couple weeks ago for his first photo shoot! We just did Kacie’s maternity session just about a few weeks before Tanner made his arrival.
Tanner was 14 days old at his session and big brother Brayden came along for some sibling and family portraits too. He did amazing and was so cute with his new baby brother. Tanner also did awesome and slept through most of the session.
Kacie’s maternity session at Tyler State Park was extra special to me. I’ve been there for almost every step of her and Luke’s love story, documenting it all. From his proposal at Prospector’s Steak House and Bar to their engagement, wedding and first baby boy Brayden’s newborn session. I’ve loved having a front row seat to watch their love story unfold.
Kacie looked absolutely stunning for their maternity session. She wore a gorgeous maroon dress that just popped so wonderfully against the park’s backdrop. Brayden did amazing too and smiled so big for all of his pictures! We had a great time and you’d never known they were all braving the cold February weather! Tyler State Park was the perfect backdrop for their maternity session and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!
Our good friends Pat and Nicole welcomed their baby girl Finleigh into their family and I was thrilled to capture one of her first days at home. I love her big brother Seamus so it was so much fun getting him involved in the session. I love lifestyle newborn sessions since we can do the session in the comfort of their home and use the nursery as a backdrop. It really makes the session custom to the family and truly one of a kind!
Wyatt and his big sister Brooke came in to the studio for Wyatt’s newborn session. Brooke was such a proud big sister and she did so amazing with her new baby brother. We started out with family portraits with Mom and Dad then did portraits of Brooke and Wyatt. Mom wanted to incorporate a tent and mountain into the session to match Wyatt’s nursery. It was so cute!
A couple weeks ago my group of mom photographers got together to celebrate two mom's to be with a maternity session. It was so much fun being in the studio! I think I've fallen in love with maternity shoots now after having so much fun playing with different looks and posing. I look forward to doing it again soon with a few mommas who are expecting this spring!
I had the pleasure of seeing Benjamin again for his newborn session. We did a studio session this time with the whole family! Benjamin was more interested in what we were doing than sleeping so in most of his pictures he is peeking at me with one eye. He still did wonderful and we got so many portraits. Mom loves penquins so we included that in his session too.
Fresh 48 sessions are one of my favorite sessions. There is nothing like snuggling a brand new baby and capturing the love of the new family. My session last week with the Washart family was wonderful. We focused on baby Benjamin and incorporated mom's love of penguins.
Hello 2018! Also welcome to my new blog! I'm starting from scratch but I plan to post all of the great sessions and weddings I had this past year! 2017 was my first year of going full time and it was an amazing year filled with such wonderful people!
